This was a great backpacking trip in the Southern Sequoia State Park. We hiked about 4 miles in from a remote trailhead, and found a little piece of paradise in a small side-canyon next to the South Fork River.
Here the river was shooting down a waterfall, then bouncing back up with such force that it was pounding this downed tree with amazing force.
